6 Fascinating Wonders of the World
The one that was prepared by the Greek academicians, consisted of The Statue of Zeus and the Artemis Temple in Efes. The name of that one was ”Seven Wonders of the World” and it is totally different from our ”6 Fascinating Wonders of the World” list. Besides that, the only remaining wonder from the first list is the Great Pyramid of Giza.
New lists for the modern world consists of the Great Barrier Reef or the Macchu Picchu, Taj Mahal and many more. Even though there are many such lists and no one accepted widely yet, we have prepared a new list just for you.
The Red Sea Beach, Paging, China
Be ready to be amazed by the redness right under your eyes. Even though it is not an actual beach, the Red Sea beach is the worlds largest water and swamp area. It hosts more than 260 bird species and 399 wildlife form. It is one of the largest ecosystems in the whole world. Mosses, which are green, in the area start growing in April and May. But in the fall, all the mosses in the area turn to red which gives the name as you can guess.

The Rainbow Mountains which is located inside of Zhangye Danxia Geological Park is just like a scene from an outer dream. From orange shadows to yellow, from blue and red, the Rainbow Mountains has what it takes for its world-famous name. These natural forms are formed through thousands of years and it is still under protection since 2010, the year it was listed on Unesco World Heritage List.
Retba Lake, Senegal, Africa
If you visit Retba Lake in Senegal, you can witness how pink is it with your own eyes. The Retba Lake which is located the country’s north side of the Cap Vert peninsula has its pinkest color between the November and the June. The reason behind water’s being so pink, are the algae living in the water. The algae inside the lake release special red colored pigments and gives the lake the famous pink color. Besides that, how pink the lake can depend on the salt ratio too. If the lake has a high salt ratio, it can turn into some kind of a red.
Perito Moreno Glacier, Patagonia, Argentina
This famous glacier which fills the human with a real peace of mind actually keeps growing all the time. The Perito Moreno Glacier is located inside of the Laos Glaciares National Park. The peninsula has approximately 4 kilometers breath-taking walking route. But don’t worry because they have special snow chains for shoes to help you not to fall down on ice. One of the best experiences you can have in the area is to watch big ice blocks departing from the main glacier mass and hear that extraordinary sound.
